Delightfully Decorated Cookies, Cakes & Desserts. Specialising in royal icing and buttercream decorating with popular designs like Australian animals, flowers, magical themes, as well as cakes topped with your favourite berries and chocolates. Mud and Sugar can cater the perfect dessert or sweets for any event. Everything is made from scratch in a registered kitchen in Wentworth Falls. Pop ups happen on occasion as well as markets which are a great way to try slices of cake, my very popular macarons and cookies. Holidays are well catered for with a large selection of decorated cookies in different flavours that are perfect as gifts and sharing with family. Holiday themes like Christmas and Easter are a personal favourite. When decorating cookies I try to add new designs each year, or a new spin on an old favourite. These are sometimes stocked in shops locally and see customers returning for more as they are not only delicious but bring people a lot of joy. Cakes are covered in buttercream and filled with your choice of flavours. Swiss meringue buttercream is very versatile and can be flavoured easily and naturally with things like compote, caramel, dulce de leche, coffee, oils and syrups. I studied flower piping and can create beautiful cakes covered in piped flowers in any colour. Macarons are something I also enjoy making and have at pop ups as well as them being available for order. Macarons are filled with ganache or whipped caramel and butterscotch. They really are divine and are a generous size. My favourite dessert to make besides cookies is ice cream and gelato, ice cream cakes with two flavours are decorated with a message for the recipient and are a wonderful treat that is sure to be remembered. I really enjoy creating custom desserts and using my creativity to bring ideas to life. It’s an edible art form and one I keep learning more about and developing.
