biography

Lunaire Lifestyle was born from a desire to create beautiful objects that don’t become waste. Alongside my husband Quincy, an industrial designer, we created the world’s first lifetime refillable candle system using anodised aluminium Forever Jars designed to be refilled again and again, rather than thrown away after a single use. Every candle and refill is hand-poured in our Hazelbrook studio using 100% soy wax, perfume-grade fragrance oils, FSC wooden wicks, and plastic-free packaging. Our work sits at the intersection of sustainability, craftsmanship, ritual, and thoughtful living. We believe everyday objects should be made with intention, designed to last, and bring a sense of calm and connection into the home. Complimentary engraving allows each piece to become deeply personal, whether it’s a gift, a keepsake, or part of someone’s daily ritual. Beyond creating candles, we’re passionate about slow living, conscious consumption, local manufacturing, and building products that encourage people to buy less, but better. We also run candle-making and mindfulness workshops in the Blue Mountains, creating opportunities for people to slow down, connect, and create with their hands. Everything we make is grounded in quality, sustainability, and meaningful design, inspired by the natural beauty and slower pace of life in the mountains. - Krish & Quincy, Lunaire Lifestyle

ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF NGURRA

The City of the Blue Mountains is located within the Ngurra (Country) of the Dharug and Gundungurra peoples. MTNS MADE recognises that Dharug and Gundungurra Traditional Owners have a continuous and deep connection to their Country and that this is of great cultural significance to Aboriginal people, both locally and in the region. For Dharug and Gundungurra People, Ngurra takes in everything within the physical, cultural and spiritual landscape – landforms, waters, air, trees, rocks, plants, animals, foods, medicines, minerals, stories and special places. It includes cultural practice, kinship, knowledge, songs, stories and art, as well as spiritual beings, and people: past, present and future. Blue Mountains City Council pays respect to Elders past and present while recognising the strength, capacity and resilience of past and present Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the Blue Mountains region.
