Turnaround Timbers Launch Event

5:30pm - 7:00pm
Turnaround Timbers
5/7 Tayler Road
Valley Heights

We're opening the doors to Turnaround Timbers for the first time, and we would love you to celebrate with us. Come and check out the space and the beautiful wood, and share a drink with Coco and Chris.

Turnaround Timbers, a brand new reclaimed timber shop and workshop--serving the Blue Mountains and Sydney's west.

We turnaround wood from its path to landfill, and give it a second life. Wood from wood rather, than trees. Turning wood that's waste, into beautiful wood for your projects.

What to expect:
- Drinks and nibblies
- Meet Chris and Coco
- Connect with local creatives and community
- Browse the reclaimed timber and wood products
- Get inspired for your next project
- Everyone leaves with a small timber gift.

Whether you're a woodworker, DIY enthusiast, creative maker, designer, or simply curious, we’d love to welcome you.

Turnaround Timbers is not a typical timber yard, it’s a friendly undercover space oozing with creativity, sustainability, and community.

Come say hello, explore the racks, experience the smells of a wood shop, and help us celebrate the beginning of Turnaround Timbers.

If you are keen to join the Friday evening shindig, please register at Eventbrite (or message us) to help us plan catering.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF NGURRA

The City of the Blue Mountains is located within the Ngurra (Country) of the Dharug and Gundungurra peoples. MTNS MADE recognises that Dharug and Gundungurra Traditional Owners have a continuous and deep connection to their Country and that this is of great cultural significance to Aboriginal people, both locally and in the region. For Dharug and Gundungurra People, Ngurra takes in everything within the physical, cultural and spiritual landscape – landforms, waters, air, trees, rocks, plants, animals, foods, medicines, minerals, stories and special places. It includes cultural practice, kinship, knowledge, songs, stories and art, as well as spiritual beings, and people: past, present and future. Blue Mountains City Council pays respect to Elders past and present while recognising the strength, capacity and resilience of past and present Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the Blue Mountains region.
