Join Scary Strangers at Lawson's monthly Blue Mountains Improv Open Jam; a relaxed, welcoming session where anyone curious about improv can jump in and play. All experience levels welcome. Whether you’re a seasoned improviser, looking to stretch your creativity, or a complete beginner who’s never tried improv before, this jam is for you. No scripts, no pressure; just creativity, collaboration, and lots of laughs guided by friendly and experienced facilitators. Hosted by comedians Ru Halwala and Tom Stevenson, the creative duo behind Scary Strangers. Ru and Tom have taught improv, stand-up and sketch comedy across Australia and India. As educators, they’ve worked with performers of all backgrounds and ages, and are passionate about creating welcoming, playful spaces where people can explore creativity, take risks, and have a laugh together. Duration: 2 Hours Dates: July 6, August 3, September 7, October 5, November 2 Workshops are also available monthly in Blackheath (1st Saturday) & Warrimoo (2nd Monday starting August 10).
