Blank Slate Cinema are unleashing their latest cinematic masterpiece at the inaugural Scary Strangers Comedy Festival Roll out the red carpet, then burn it, because Blank Slate Cinema is premiering a movie made entirely up on the spot! No script. No director. No idea what the movie is. Inspired by audience suggestions, our cast will create an original film live on stage. Will it be a heartwarming romcom? A jaw-clenching thriller? A gritty reboot of The Saddle Club Absolutely. Expect unforgettable characters, plot twists, questionable acting choices, and special effects so low-budget they'd make James Cameron weep. If you love improv, comedy, and watching talented performers create oscar-winning moments on the spot, this is your chance to witness cinematic history being invented right before your eyes. 🕖 Doors Open: 6:30pm | Show Starts: 7:00 PM 📅 Date: Friday, October 16 📍 Venue: Wentworth Falls School of the Arts Starring: Billie Miles, Lauren Donikian, Roxanne van Zyl, Ru Halwala, Tom Stevenson, and more to be announced. Book now! Unlike the show, tickets won't make themselves up as they go along.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF NGURRA

The City of the Blue Mountains is located within the Ngurra (Country) of the Dharug and Gundungurra peoples. MTNS MADE recognises that Dharug and Gundungurra Traditional Owners have a continuous and deep connection to their Country and that this is of great cultural significance to Aboriginal people, both locally and in the region. For Dharug and Gundungurra People, Ngurra takes in everything within the physical, cultural and spiritual landscape – landforms, waters, air, trees, rocks, plants, animals, foods, medicines, minerals, stories and special places. It includes cultural practice, kinship, knowledge, songs, stories and art, as well as spiritual beings, and people: past, present and future. Blue Mountains City Council pays respect to Elders past and present while recognising the strength, capacity and resilience of past and present Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the Blue Mountains region.
