Katoomba Wellness Website Design – Dual Wellness Platform (Pilates & Chinese Medicine)

project description

This project involved designing and developing a unique dual-purpose website for Katoomba Wellness, a holistic health business based in the Blue Mountains. The site was strategically built as a central gateway, allowing users to seamlessly navigate between two distinct services: Katoomba Pilates and Jade Mountain Medicine. The main landing page introduces the brand and acts as a clear entry point, guiding visitors to either movement-based wellness through personalised Pilates sessions or holistic healing through Traditional Chinese Medicine, including acupuncture and herbal treatments . The Katoomba Pilates section focuses on structured, small-group and private sessions tailored to individual needs, highlighting a personalised and supportive approach to movement and strength building . Meanwhile, the Jade Mountain Medicine side of the website showcases a holistic, patient-centred approach to health, emphasising balance across mind, body, and lifestyle. The website was designed with clarity, user experience, and scalability in mind — ensuring visitors can easily understand the dual offering while maintaining a cohesive brand identity across both services. The result is a clean, modern, and SEO-friendly website that supports growth, improves user navigation, and reflects the calm, professional nature of the business.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF NGURRA

The City of the Blue Mountains is located within the Ngurra (Country) of the Dharug and Gundungurra peoples. MTNS MADE recognises that Dharug and Gundungurra Traditional Owners have a continuous and deep connection to their Country and that this is of great cultural significance to Aboriginal people, both locally and in the region. For Dharug and Gundungurra People, Ngurra takes in everything within the physical, cultural and spiritual landscape – landforms, waters, air, trees, rocks, plants, animals, foods, medicines, minerals, stories and special places. It includes cultural practice, kinship, knowledge, songs, stories and art, as well as spiritual beings, and people: past, present and future. Blue Mountains City Council pays respect to Elders past and present while recognising the strength, capacity and resilience of past and present Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the Blue Mountains region.
