Stephanie Simcox is an Australian documentary photographer currently based in The Blue Mountains. Stephanie creates compelling visual documentary narratives, inspired by the uniquely colourful light and environment of Australia. Clients include The New York Times, The Washington Post, Panos Pictures, ProPublica and UN Women. Her award-winning portraiture has been recognised internationally since 2016, including in the Australian National Portrait Prize, the Maggie Diaz award and the Moran Prize among others. Stephanie holds a bachelor of Fine Art from the National Art School and an International degree from the Danish School of media and Journalism. Stephanie is part of Women Photograph International
